Founding Team Member Business Development (m/w/d)

Prine is looking for an entrepreneurial Founding Team Member in Business Development to help build and grow one of our emerging digital ventures. The venture is being created around a simple but ambitious idea: making it easier for international migrants to discover communities, opportunities, events, skills, products, services, and cultural experiences that help them feel connected and settle into a new environment. We are not looking for someone who simply wants a conventional business development position. We are looking for someone who wants to build the business itself. You will work closely with the founder and help shape how the venture develops, who it serves, who it partners with, how it creates value, and eventually how it generates revenue

More details

•    Identify and develop strategic partnerships

•    Research potential markets, customer segments, and opportunities

•    Develop and test business development strategies

•    Contact potential partners, organisations, and businesses

•    Explore new revenue and growth opportunities

•    Support customer and partner discovery

•    Develop partnership proposals and business cases

•    Test ideas quickly and learn from results

•    Support go-to-market experiments

•    Help shape the commercial strategy

•    Identify opportunities that others may overlook

•    Work directly with the founder on strategic decisions

Take ownership of projects from idea to execution

We are particularly interested in people with experience in:

•    Entrepreneurship

•    Startups

•    Business development

•    Sales

•    Partnerships

•    Strategy

•    Consulting

•    Community building

•    Market development

•    Business model development

However, formal experience is not a strict requirement. If you have limited professional experience but are highly curious about entrepreneurship, business development, and startup building, we still encourage you to apply. What matters most is your ability to think commercially, take initiative, and turn ideas into action.

•    Think like a builder rather than an employee

•    Are comfortable starting with limited resources

•    Enjoy experimenting and testing ideas

•    Can work independently without constant supervision

•    Are also a strong team player

•    Make thoughtful decisions with incomplete information

•    Communicate confidently with different types of people

•    Are comfortable approaching people and opening conversations

•    Have strong problem-solving skills

•    Are curious about how businesses actually grow

•    Are willing to learn by doing

•    Can challenge ideas respectfully

•    Take ownership when something needs to get done

You do not need to know everything. You need to be willing to figure things out.

This is an opportunity to gain direct experience in:

•    Startup building

•    Business development

•    Partnership development

•    Customer discovery

•    Market validation

•    Revenue strategy

•    Business model development

•    Go-to-market experimentation

•    Entrepreneurial decision-making

•    Working directly with a founder

•    Building a venture from an early stage

You will have the opportunity to take meaningful ownership rather than simply observe from the sidelines. You will also receive:

 •    A professional experience reference

•    A certificate / testimonial upon successful completion of agreed contributions

•    Portfolio-worthy work and projects

•    Exposure to real entrepreneurial decision-making

•    Direct founder-level collaboration

•    Opportunities to expand your responsibilities as the venture develops

This is an early-stage founding team opportunity. At the current stage, the venture does not provide a fixed salary or guaranteed financial remuneration.

As the venture develops and begins generating sustainable revenue, compensation structures can be introduced based on responsibilities, contribution, and the financial position of the venture.

For suitable founding team members, vesting and potential equity participation may be discussed separately, based on contribution, commitment, responsibilities, and the long-term relationship with the venture. Equity is not guaranteed and would be subject to a separate agreement.

This is not a traditional corporate position with a predefined job description. The role will evolve as the venture evolves.

If you want a role where someone tells you exactly what to do every day, this probably is not the right opportunity. If you want to help figure out what should be done, build it, test it, and learn from the process, we would love to hear from you.

1. What have you built, started, or helped grow?

2. Why are you interested in entrepreneurship and business development?

3. What would you try to build or test first if you joined us?

4. What is one business idea you believe could work but has not been executed well yet?
